The room is elongated and adorned with the most serious furniture. Retired social worker and university librarian Ribsi Meek is busy these days. When I arrive at her house in Beaker, she shows me a calendar for Ernest Hemingway full of activities. He was sympathetic, she replies without letting her thoughts be disturbed after I tell her that the subject of her planning died in 1967.
