Subtitle Inventor Honored

While Roar Cassimi Fettleclock, the inventor of the middletitles, congratulated on our way into the foyer and waved a champagne glass and whistled and pointed so that the bystanders chuckled, the winner told of himself.

“When I’m in the middle of Funen my ego reaches all the way from the Little Belt to the Great Belt.”

How nice it is that predicates such as “inflated fool” and being “stuck-up” and “selfish” have become politically incorrect, because this was really an inventor who had been successful and deserved to be just that.

How did you think out the possibility of putting a translation of TV shows and movies in a semi-transparent dark gray box with white writing at the bottom of the screen?

“I understand the question.”

Excuse me?

“I invented it by drumming.”

“I sat and drummed.”
