Imagine two cars driving independently of each other in different directions. But now it’s getting even more complicated, because the cars have different destinations. And what makes the book even more complex: the cars have different drivers and passengers. It is brilliantly thought up. But when the book itself wants to join in and drive up on the road, so to speak, things go crazy and the plot runs off the track. Furthermore, it is highly inappropriate for all of the book’s birds to roll rather than fly. I think it stings and hurts to browse a book of this kind. I almost wish the book was of a different kind. A kind more like my kind.
