According to Tesser Longdahl, the meaning of life is actually quite simple. Forgiveness requires acceptance, love and understanding. Acceptance requires hope and more understanding. Hope requires faith, even more understanding and insight into the nature of understanding. Understanding requires, yes, even depends on, compassion, listening and love. Anger requires listening, insight, and the prospect of additional reproaches. But really, what will probably leave a lasting memory in Longdahl’s new book is the careful notes about the rock band The Forgetful Frights struggle for success.
