Juice of Grated Heather Served at a Gala

1441

At a gala last night in the Productivity Commission, a delicious juice of grated heather was served, which caused the eyebrows to rise and the teeth to feel rough, especially in the lower mouth. When the nausea had subsided and the appetizer, a mousse of hips, had been served, Else Andersen raised her fork and gently tapped her glass as a sign that a speech was necessary: “It’s basically wrong to earn money taking care of the sick. It’s a task for the community. More competition does not give greater productivity but stress. The Productivity Commission should be professional and not political.”
The President of the Commission was astounded: “Is there a Second Newspaper employee present? Firstly, heather-juice then hip-mousse and now these revelations!?”

Interpretation 1: The article focuses on a societal issue and is therefore satirical.
