A gang of crooks hit an ATM machine but took the Complaint Box instead of the ATM of a reputed bank. They overpowered and tied the lone security guard but to the guard’s astonishment ran away with the complaint box, which was just beside the ATM.
“It was weird. I got beaten and then tied up but instead of taking the money-filled ATM, they took the box.”
Some of the bank employees feared that people would see a conspiracy with the employees being involved as the complaints box was taken.
“I thought people would think we simply do not care about their complaints, which is not far from truth, but, anyway, the blame could be on the bank like it is an inside job.”
But to the relief of the bank the robbers were caught and it was revealed that they simply did not understand English and thought the box would have the money and not the weirdly shaped machine.
