Shvet Entwistle’s New Painting Unveiled

In the foreground of your, in other respects, formidable painting stands a man washing himself with a hat. Obviously that’s what he does.

“I’m glad it’s clear.”

Yes, but why ruin a beautiful painting with that kind of nonsense. No one washes themselves with a hat.

“It could be an attempt to give out a cool masculine atmosphere, like when a cowboy or explorer, after shaving with a razor, wipes his face with a cloth without rinsing it with water afterwards.”

Yes, but how can that mood be given out to, for example, these pine trees in the background when the man with the hat appears completely misplaced?
